POWER GENERATION SERVICE SUPERVISOR
American Diesel Outfitters LLC ® is seeking -experienced Power Generation Service Supervisor to fulfill a critical role in our clients operations. Generous compensation package to include relocation where applicable (client discretion). Work with an elite leader in the industry!

Direct the generator and off highway engine service business for the assigned territory. Promote field service sales and while responding to customer's technical field service needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervise 5 to 15 field service technicians. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training field service technicians, planning, assigning, and directing work: appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining field service technicians; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
•Make sales calls and solicit customers for all field service repairs in order to meet sales and margin objectives, and to profitably grow as a business.
•Open and close work orders, prepare estimates, guide and dispatch technicians
•Full P&L responsibility- Understand and interpret GP, COS, technician efficiency, ELR. Analyze data and develop process to overcome any weaknesses and capitalize on strengths for a profitable department
•Experience managing a service department & field technicians is necessary
•Handle all aspects of field service repair sales, including preparation and delivery of field service quotes to customers, and follow-up to answer customers' questions
•Maintain communication with customers to promote customer relations and loyalty.
•Plan and coordinate implementation of maintenance contracts with the admin and Field Service Sales team.
•Direct the installation of generator equipment with employees, and customers. Update customers on installation plans.
•Oversee and schedule training for all service department personnel.
•Make sales calls to obtain potential customers, as well as current users or sellers of product /service to promote business and retain customers.
•Resolve customer disputes in connection with either factory or distributorship warranties.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
•High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in business or engineering preferred but not necessary.
•Extensive knowledge of various Power Generator (MTU, DDE, CAT, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, etc...) products.
•Five years' field experience in diesel engines and electrical mechanics and generators
•Must possess leadership qualities, integrity, and a sales orientation. Also must be a motivator, diplomat, and express good judgment in dealing with others.
•Willingness and confidence to be active in increasing customer contacts.
•Must possess superior interpersonal and customer relation skills.
•Must have knowledge and ability to operate computer in service functions.
•Must have understanding and knowledge of warranty and service programs.
•Ability to travel to customer's offices and facilities.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
•Must have a drive for customer service and provide an elevated level of service for internal and external customers.
