American Diesel Outfitters LLC ® is seeking a Director of Inside Sales.


Job Summary:


The Director of Inside Sales will build an Inside Sales capability that delivers sales success by conducting and enabling effective, efficient customer contact through our clients Distribution and Service’s (CDS) business to business and business to consumer channels. He/she will be responsible for improving sales results and experiences for targeted new and existing customers. The Director will lead the development and execution of an inside sales capability and playbook to support Inside Sales capability at scale across the Clients Distribution Services subsidiaries.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Oversee all daily activities to incubate, develop and manage a professional customer-focused, data-driven Inside Sales capability for CDS

• Compose, train, and implement scripts and processes to drive effective inbound and outbound customer electronic and phone contacts

• Define inside sales roles, responsibilities, commitments, and accountabilities (RACI), recruit results-oriented candidates, and build a fact base to qualify and generate leads to grow revenue Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) to existing customers and drive customer retention and loyalty

• Partner closely with the existing direct sales and marketing teams to prioritize customer prospects, support direct sales on meeting velocity, manage customer data in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, execute effective social media promotions and campaigns, and development and maintenance of CDS’s customer fact base and market intelligence

• Create and implement appropriate KPIs and instrumentation to define success of Inside Sales


Qualifications Knowledge & Skill:


• Proven track record as an inside sales person and managing a successful inside sales team and process

• Champion inside sales best practices, tools, and processes among CDS leadership and sales organization

• Experience with leading and managing Customer Relationship Management programs (i.e., Salesforce, etc.) to include partnership with direct sales teams

• Demonstrable history of leading the integration of inside sales people, process, and technologies with marketing capabilities

• Ability to design data analysis and effective A/B testing to trial prospective customer contact processes

• Ability to manage teams to goals, objectives and quota achievement

• Experience hiring, building, and scaling a top-notch inside sales team

• Ability to synthesize operating data and frame crisp customer actionable insights




• Customer centric mindset with a detailed attention to customer experience and demonstrated ability to meet commitments

• Ability to lead change, inspire others, and work collaboratively across the organization

• Strong organizational, project planning, attention to detail, and innovative problem-solving skill

• Bring passion, business acumen, experience and the ability to create and inspire new ideas

• Strong written and verbal communications skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment




• Degree in Business Administration, Business Technology, or a similar field

• MBA preferred




• 5-10 years of experience in Inside Sales leadership roles

• Experience in manufacturing and/or parts distribution preferred
